Our Showcase Events

  • Cairns Rowing Club 'Come and Try' Day

    We hold a Come and Try Day as an introduction to our Learn to Row Program.We invite you to come along to give the sport a go. There is no obligation to continue on after that, although we think you may want to.
  • Saturday Social Row

    The club holds a Saturday Social Row every Saturday morning, weather permitting. This program allows everyone to get to know each other and is also aimed at getting rowers of varying experience levels into the same boat to accelerate the learning process.
  • Learn To Row

    The Cairns Rowing Club delivers a Learn to Row (LTR) program throughout the year to ensure that the community is able to take up the sport at any time. See our Calendar of Events for details on our next program.

  • Head of the Trinity Inlet +

    This is our blue ribbon event for the year and will be held on September 10. All water craft are invited to this exciting and challenging event. See our HOTTI page for details.
  • Learn to Row Program +

  • Regional Regattas +

    The North Queensland Club Regattas will be starting in July, with the first regatta to be held at Townsville.We will post regatta details as they are published.
