Club members travelled to Riverway Rowing Club to take part in the North Queensland Championship Regatta. The championships were another great example of the spirited competition and quality rowing available in North Queensland. The great comraderie that exists between the clubs in NQ was also evident.

Congratulations to all club members who attended, all returned with medals and had a great time in the process of competing at the championships. Special mention goes to Lear Horstmann for her tally of 3 medals. Leah completed the clubs Learn to Row program in March this year and has been applying herself to developing in the sport ever since. Well done Leah.

The next event on the calendar is the Townsville Turnaround. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
